Licensed paralegals are permitted to represent clients in the Small Claims Court for matters up to $50,000. Whether you would like to defend against a claim or make a claim yourself, we can represent you in your matter.
The cost of starting a Plaintiff's Claim or Defence is $500. The actual cost of your matter will be quoted at the end of your consultation, dependent on the complexity of the case.
To advance the Law Society of Ontario's goal to increasing accessibility of justice for the general public, our firm is making the dedication to have a maximum cost that will not be exceeded. As such, our Small Claims Court cases will cap at a maximum of $5,000 + application fees + 13% HST.
